How To Bleed A Sprinkler System

I'm back from Leeds!

So you love!
And already here is my second most in Reading weeks rum!
Actually I have most of this week not vernbracht in Reading, because I was from Tuesday to Friday at a seminar of EVS (European Voluntary Service) in Leeds!
In Leeds I have many other volunteers from around the world met (well the whole world was not there, but there were young people from Germany, France, Sweden, Spain, Poland, Hungary and Uruguay there) and we really had fun there, I can now also "good appetite" to say in Swedish! We had dinner every night! Once the Asians, once the Spaniards and once for the Indians! We have there a lot of talk about the stereotype that Germans against the English and vice versa and we have talked about how to behave in England to what is not better to do (I mean as in the gestures), how to cheap to train tickets is so, and on Friday we do not have English food try it!
I tell you, English can not cook anyway, unless you are strong seasons after, then go. In addition, people can appreciate the happy no teeth, because the British prefer to cook everything sooo soft. And everywhere there are potatoes. Today, for example, there was pizza and baked potatoes to! However that is the English specialties are some really disgusting! And high on the list of Nasty things my view, to "Marmite". Do not ask me what it is exactly, it looks like syrup, but it is really disgusting! And right after that comes Ginger Beer! This is a drink (no alcohol, mind you) with ginger! Sort of like lemonade! But it should give the Englishman the like (For example, my host mother). So the conference was really cool and I have met many nice people!
About Next Week (28.9.-1.10.) I'm back at a conference and that of my host organization "Time for God" (short: TFG). This conference will be in London and I will be there some of the volunteers who were with me now in Leeds and meet up again!
short explanation: So TFG is like saying my English host organization! EVS is a program that promotes volunteer my services, so to speak, as the paymaster for much of the rising costs. And then there's my sending organization are the "Protestant voluntary services for young people FSJ and DJiA gGmbH" in this organization, I applied and they have selected me with the voluntary service (I think for the UK there were over 100 applications, and ultimately were 29 places awarded) through this organization, I also had a selection and a preparatory seminar and there will be a final evaluation! Just like the EVS also because most Organizations do not have their own seminars and then have their volunteers only the seminars from the EVS, whereas TFG volunteers (when are they supported by the EVS, for these are not all) of two preparatory seminars (both EVS and DJIA) have four seminars in the host country ( EVS and in my case TFG) and then back again two seminars (EVS and DJIA). I also have one supervisor from TFG to which I can contact in case of problems, a supervisor at work and I have a so-called TFG Friend. The TFG Friend is someone who knows the people at my work and not not even my family knows and go to that I do when I'm homesick or I otherwise go bad!
with me are the TFG Friends an older couple who are very nice and sweet!
I spent last week with Esther with them, for they were also Esther's Friends TFG as she made her DJiA!
You see it is looked after by all sides and if you as a volunteer at TFG is you have selected the "all-round carefree package" because many people really are a rum, to a very faces! F course, even if the longing for home and cherished by people still developing. But now I'm as also driven to Leeds is not alone but with a Hungarian Andras in Reading who also makes his Frewilligendienst and he helped me with my wheelchair and the luggage for transferring. In addition was the English mobility Railway Service ordered to help me and everything went great! Although not as such have Hubrampen at German railway stations, but simply those ramps to fold out, which one in the train door legt. Also not as comfortable, but less striking! I've saved the service to explain that I can also run and the wheelchair only for long distances in the need of a little understood even in Germany! Well on the way back then Andras has forgotten his backpack with a passport and visa and keychain, etc. on the train, which of course has brought much excitement, but he did get it well again.
I hope my explanations have regard to the organizations at least somewhat understood, it is quite complicated, and sometimes I get do not by themselves. Today I had to ask again in the city, postal order, which stamps you have to stick to letters to Germany and then I have the same stamps bought and then I was still at the library and wanted to get a library card, but that was not because the high scores from me an official letter with my address do!
So I had the whole thing, unfortunately, move on next week! Tomorrow I will try it again a new church and then I'll dine with my host family, for they have again a big dinner because her son Marc is flying back to Australia where he emigrated three years ago is.
So dear ones!
I will now again a couple of photos to insert into the posts!
The top I'm in the wheelchair (if you had not thought or now) on the left is Lea another German volunteers, and a French woman and two Swedes!
All, all love you!
soon your Felicitas
